This privacy policy applies to the mobile applications (hereby referred to as “Application”) for mobile devices that were created by Just For Fun (hereby referred to as “Service Provider”) as a Freemium service. This service is intended for use “AS IS”.

Information Collection and Use

The Application collects information when you download and use it. This information may include:

• Your device's Internet Protocol address (e.g. IP address)
• The pages of the Application that you visit, the time and date of your visit, and the time spent on those pages
• The time spent on the Application
• The operating system you use on your mobile device
• If you choose to add a cat profile photo, the image you select from your device library

The Application does not gather precise information about the location of your mobile device.

Waitlist Sign-Ups

When you join a product waitlist through our website, we may collect your email address and your preferred app marketplace through our waitlist forms. We use this information to measure interest and send launch notifications for the application you requested.

Third-Party Services

The Application may use third-party services such as analytics tools or crash reporting tools to collect and analyze usage data. These tools may collect information used to identify you, such as device identifiers or usage patterns, in order to improve the service.

We may also use Google Workspace tools, including Google Forms and Google Sheets, to securely collect and manage waitlist submissions for launch notification purposes.

How We Use Your Information

The Service Provider may use the information you provided to:

• Provide, maintain, and improve the Application
• Contact you from time to time to provide important information, required notices, and marketing promotions
• Send launch updates and availability alerts for waitlists you joined
• Respond to your inquiries and support requests
• Analyze usage patterns to enhance user experience

For a better experience, while using the Application, the Service Provider may require you to provide certain personally identifiable information, including but not limited to email and user ID. The information that the Service Provider requests will be retained and used as described in this privacy policy.

Face Data

The Application allows users to optionally select a photo from their device library for a cat profile. In some cases, a selected image may incidentally include a human face. When that happens, the only face-related content the Application receives is the user-selected image itself.

The Application does not use facial recognition, face tracking, biometric identification, biometric templates, faceprints, landmark extraction, or any analysis of facial features. The selected image is used only to let the user display and manage a cat profile photo inside the app.

Selected images are stored locally on the user's device in the app's private storage. We do not upload these images to our servers, and we do not share face data or selected images with third parties for facial analysis, advertising, profiling, or biometric identification. Analytics and crash reporting providers do not receive the contents of selected images.

A selected image is retained only until the user deletes the photo, deletes the related cat profile, or uninstalls the app. We do not retain biometric identifiers or face templates because the Application does not create them.

Third-Party Access

Only aggregated, anonymized data is periodically transmitted to external services to aid the Service Provider in improving the Application and their service.

The Service Provider may disclose User Provided and Automatically Collected Information:

• As required by law, such as to comply with a subpoena, or similar legal process
• When they believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to protect their rights, protect your safety or the safety of others, investigate fraud, or respond to a government request
• With their trusted service providers who work on their behalf, do not have an independent use of the information disclosed to them, and have agreed to adhere to the rules set forth in this privacy statement

Opt-Out Rights

You can stop all collection of information by the Application easily by uninstalling it. You may use the standard uninstall processes as may be available as part of your mobile device or via the mobile application marketplace or network.

Data Retention Policy

The Service Provider will retain User Provided data for as long as you use the Application and for a reasonable time thereafter. If you'd like them to delete User Provided Data that you have provided via the Application, please contact them at support@justforfunapp.com and they will respond in a reasonable time.

Cat profile photos selected from the device library are stored locally on the user's device and are retained until the user deletes the photo, deletes the related cat profile, or uninstalls the app.

Waitlist submission data may be retained until the relevant product launch campaign is complete, unless a longer retention period is required for legal or operational reasons, or you request deletion earlier.

Children's Privacy

The Service Provider does not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children. The Service Provider encourages parents and legal guardians to monitor their children's Internet usage and to help enforce this Policy by instructing their children never to provide personally identifiable information through the Application and/or Services without their permission.

If you have reason to believe that a child has provided personally identifiable information to the Service Provider, please contact them at support@justforfunapp.com so that they can take the necessary actions.

Security

The Service Provider is concerned about safeguarding the confidentiality of your information. The Service Provider provides physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards to protect the information they process and maintain.

Changes to This Policy

This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time for any reason. The Service Provider will notify you of any changes to the Privacy Policy by updating this page with the new Privacy Policy. You are advised to consult this Privacy Policy regularly for any changes, as continued use is deemed approval of all changes.

By using the Application, you are consenting to the processing of your information as set forth in this Privacy Policy now and as amended by us.
